Before and after-school sessions
At Hadley Learning Community, our before and after-school activities are designed to boost students’ confidence, foster social interaction, expand their networks, and help them develop new skills. Most importantly, they provide a fun and relaxed space for students to unwind.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is available for students who need to arrive before school starts at 8:40 am. It is open to those who have registered for the service, and there is no charge. Parents are asked to complete a Microsoft Form at the beginning of each term to confirm the days their child will attend. Staff are present to monitor students, and any inappropriate behaviour will result in loss of access. Breakfast Club operates from 8:00 am.
Homework Club
The Homework Club offers a quiet space for students to complete homework using ICT facilities and provides supervision for those waiting for parents or carers to collect them. This service is free of charge, and staff are present every day to assist students. Homework Club runs daily from 3.00 pm to 3:45 pm. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in the withdrawal of a student’s place.
After-School Extra-Curricular Clubs and Activities
We are delighted to be able to offer a range of after school and enrichment activities which also includes study sessions. Each activity will commence at 3pm and finish by 4pm, unless otherwise specified. At the start of each term, we publish a new schedule of after-school clubs and activities. These clubs are free of charge and offer a variety of opportunities for students to explore new interests and develop skills outside of the classroom.
