Support in school

Your child’s Student Support Manager is always there to talk about their Mental Health. They can offer support and also signpost or refer your child to the correct person. They will most likely refer them in the first instance to Mrs Reilly, our Mental Health Lead at HLC. Mrs Reilly works closely with lots of agencies and organisations that can also offer support and guidance.

  1. Build small, steady routines 
  1. Stay connected with people who feel safe 
  1. Notice emotions instead of fighting them 
  1. Limit comparison and pressure from social media 
  1. Ask for help early
