The school day starts at 8.30am as we transition into form time

Students should be in the academy by 8.40am. The main student gate closes at 8.40am, any students arriving after this time will need to use the ‘late’ door access, and will be classified as late. 

We expect:

• Students need to ensure they arrive prepared and on time
• If there is a situation outside the student’s control where they will be late, this needs to be reported to the academies attendance team

The day ends at 3.00pm, with a five minute staggered exit from lessons. All intervention and clubs continuing after.

The academy operates a 5-period day, with 5 one hour lessons. We operate two lunches and rotate this for year group depending on examination start times.
