Academy facilities
Designed with inclusion at its core, Hadley Learning Community (HLC) supports the whole community.
Engaging learning environment
As an academy, and across the trust
we appreciate the importance of investing in our campuses to ensure that they are engaging environments for learning, which are safe and nurturing for all our students and staff.
Here at Hadley Learning Community Academy, we have a vast range of facilities to support the learning for all our students.
A School at the Heart of the Community
Designed with inclusion at its core, Hadley Learning Community (HLC) supports the whole community. Built in 2006 as part of a £70 million Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project in partnership with Interserve, now Mitie, HLC is a “super site” bringing together outstanding educational and community facilities under one roof. The HLC site also shares facilities with The Bridge School (Local Authority Maintained Specialist), Circle Leisure, ABC Nursery (Private Provision), and The Hazel Family Hub, alongside our Secondary and Primary phases.
Our Primary and Secondary phases offer a modern, open environment designed to inspire students. As part of the 30-year PFI project, HLC is continuously updated to ensure the best possible environment for students, staff, and visitors. This ongoing investment ensures that everyone who visits experiences a first-class setting that supports learning, creativity, and well-being.
From September 2023, the Academy’s IT infrastructure and equipment was refreshed on a rolling programme, and our classroom facilities now include ten ICT specialist suites. Students also benefit from access to specialist classrooms for ICT, Science, Design & Technology, Art, Food Technology, Business, and Music.
HLC work closely with Mitie FM as our FM provider, Pyramid Schools SPV managed by Resolis, and Telford & Wrekin council to ensure we continue to provide best-value and high-quality facilities for our students and community through the PFI.
HLC Secondary Academy offers a modern environment for students to learn in.
