Work Experience
Work Experience
We are proud to offer an annual work experience scheme for our Year 10 students. The aim of work experience is to help prepare students for the transition from education to employment by giving them the opportunity to get involved in the world of work and gain first-hand knowledge of what a particular job entails. It really is an exciting step for students as they transition from their final stage of school education and prepare for the real working world!
Students are expected to arrange their own placements but will receive guidance from the Careers Department on how to do this.
Our students always make us so proud during their time in the community, acting as great ambassadors for the school.
Students who are unable to complete external placement for work experience will be given the opportunity to complete in house careers-based activities.

We use a system called Grofar to register all placements with Telford and Wrekin, which is where insurance is arranged and health and safety checks are carried out.
